Serving great local beers & homemade bar foodView our menus
10am to 11pm Wednesday to Saturday, and 10am to 8pm on Sundays and bank holidays.
We serve coffee and pastries every morning. From Wednesday to Saturday, we offer both our full lunch menu and our bar menu from noon to 3pm, and dinner from 6pm. We also have a weekday two and three-course set menu, available for lunch and dinner up to Friday lunchtime. We serve our Sunday menu from noon to 8pm, with last orders at 6pm. We take reservations for inside the pub and our marquee, which is enclosed for winter, with heaters and blankets for extra comfort.
Our Friday Night Takeaway is available for collection or delivery at 6pm. Click above for this week’s menu and order form, which has further information on availability and delivery options.
Our tables are well spaced and we sanitise them between every use. Our staff continue to wear masks and we offer full table service with single-use menus. We have sanitiser on every table and we keep the pub and marquee well ventilated. If you are feeling unwell or have been told to isolate, please stay away.
We source as much quality, local and sustainable produce as we can. We are surrounded by many innovative and passionate farmers and producers, many of whom we consider to be our friends, and the area boasts some of the country’s best wines, beers and cheeses. You won’t find things like olives or avocados on our menus, because, delicious as they are, there’s plenty of choice and flavour right here on our doorstep.
We keep a close eye on food miles, packaging and our use of landfill, we use harvested rainwater for our garden and we compost whatever we can.
Jevington is surrounded by farmland, woodland and downland. The sea is just at the bottom of the valley, and the coastline includes Beachy Head, the Seven Sisters and Cuckmere Haven — so you can explore for miles!
There are plenty of exceptional places to visit, from Eastbourne’s award-winning Towner Gallery, to Charleston Farmhouse (home to some of the Bloomsbury set), Glyndebourne, the Rathfinny Wine Estate and Long Man Brewery.
We are always happy to suggest places to stay, to introduce you to the village’s many talented artists and to recommend some of our great local tradespeople.
We’d love to keep you up to date.
